"Absolutely amazing. They call it Spectacular, it's more than Spectacular. The girls are beautiful, the costumes are outstanding. I am glad I came all the way from Goulbourn with friends," said Edna. (The Epoch Times)

CANBERRA, Australia—Among the audience of Canberra's third and final showing of the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular was dance teacher Anne Whish-Wilson who was moved after seeing the show on Saturday evening April 12 at the Canberra Theatre.

"Well, I think it's spectacular. The costuming, the music, their movements and the drumming. All so beautiful," she said.

The classical Chinese dancing and costuming most impressed Mrs Whish-Wilson.

"Oh … the costuming I think is something that is really out of this world, extraordinary. The [Chinese] way of movement is very interesting."

When asked what she thought distinguished the Spectacular dancing from other dancing styles, the dance teacher highlighted the unique movement of the feet. "I love the way they use their feet," she said.

A group of friends who travelled from Goulburn to see the Saturday evening session commented on their impressions of the show.

"Absolutely amazing. They call it Spectacular, it's more than Spectacular. The girls are beautiful, the costumes are outstanding. I am glad I came all the way from Goulbourn with friends," said Edna.

When asked what her favourite performance was Edna could not single out one above the rest. "I can't say." Her friend Natee who owns a beauty salon added: "Everything actually, the Mongolian Bowl Dance … their gracefulness, their costumes and their body movements. Beautiful!"

Having lived in Beijing for three years, Natee and her husband had seen Chinese shows before, but said the Spectacular was more "like a world class". She added that she felt "home-sick" after seeing the Chinese Spectacular .
