CANBERRA, Australia—Mick Szabo, a pensioner, attended the Canberra premier at the Canberra theatre. He wished that the Spectacular had gone on for another couple of hours. after
"The show was uplifting, it was different from other shows," Mr Szabo said.
"It conveyed a lot of meanings about human behaviour and life. And I thought it was a shame there weren't more young people here tonight.
"The costumes were beautiful.
"The hosts were very good, and I was surprised there was a Western man who was able to speak mandarin.
"I really enjoyed the show and I will come back to see it again."
It was great
Greg Johnston, an electrical engineer, travelled two hours from the Snowy Mountains and he was "very enthusiastic about the show".
"It was great, it was cultural diversity, quite a few things in there," Mr Johnston said. "I noticed in the ballet there were a lot of nice, light, movements — with the tai chi movements — it all sort of blended into one in the ballet. Very nice."
He said: [of Chinese culture] "It goes back thousands of years and has a lot to teach the West."
