VIENNA, Austria—Karin Reschner, who came with her 10-year-old daughter Beatrice Bullmann to the Vienna Chinese Spectacular performance on March 7th, found the show "outstanding".

"The rich color and the synchronized and somehow foreign movements resulted in a beautiful overall picture."

The social worker said that the show gave her food for thought, that she gladly takes with her. "Case in point is the scene [Power of Awareness] with the banners on which were imprinted the three principles and the little girl in that particular dance scene."

That particular scene was about practitioners of the ancient Chinese teaching of Falun Gong, who are persecuted in China.

"I retained a lasting impression because of the little girl," said Reschner, "This includes her spirit and courage and also her abilities. She was great in joining into the movements. This was a great scene."

They also liked the backdrop and the effect of the pictures. The text to the songs were a great idea and easy to understand, they said.

"I have seen other shows where one could not understand the songs and what it was all about. What I experienced during that show was very congenial."

After Friday's show in Vienna, the Spectacular will play in Bratislava on Sunday, carrying on to Prague for more shows next week. A total of 35 shows will be seen in 14 European countries.
