PARIS—Divine Performing Arts presented the third successful show at Palais des Congrès in Paris. The show attracted many Chinese audiences, who expressed deep pride in overseas Chinese' ability to produce such pure, authentic Chinese traditional cultural performances. They also hope that the show can be presented in China.

Chinese Family Is Thrilled by the Rich Meanings of the Show

Mr. Guo Danyang, a Chinese living in France, works as an account manager of an international software company, watched the Chinese Spectacular with his family. He said, "I felt great to be here and watch the show. The scenes were so spectacular and magnificent. The dances were great too. I'm surprised at the Chinese people that are doing so well in the U.S. Chinese living in France should really catch up."

Mr. Guo's elder sister added, "I didn't expect the show to be so wonderful. I brought my daughter to see Chinese dance. She's been learning ballet, so I want her to learn about Chinese dance. The Chinese dances were authentic with rich meanings beyond my imagination. The Mongolian and Tibetan style dances were particularly of folk quality."

Mr. Guo's daughter told our reporter in French, without hesitation, "I love today's dance so much. They danced in such a graceful way, and the movements were classical, quite different from what I learned in Ballet."

Chinese Student: 'The Loyalty of Yue Fei' Is my Favourite

William Liu, a Chinese student, watched the show with two friends. He happily told our reporter, "The show is really great. I have the feeling that this kind of show should actually be seen in mainland China. I love 'The Loyalty of Yue Fei' the most. It expressed a sense of patriotisms, a strong patriotic feeling of true Chinese, a very pure feeling.

What I wanted to say most is, "if this show can be presented in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore, countries that are nearest to China, why is it not allowed in China only? I wish it to be presented in China. Let people in China have a chance to see it!"
