GENEVA—Divine Performing Arts was in at the Théâtre du Léman in Geneva, Switzerland, on Monday for its run of the Chinese Spectacular . Mr. Lozeron, the director of the theater, shared his impression with The Epoch Times.
ET: As a theater director, you already have a great amount experience in this domain. How is the Shen Yun Chinese Spectacular unique?
Mr. Lozeron: It's a show of high quality, based on everything on stage. The artists are magnificent, the costumes are magnificent, and the direction is spectacular. That's something unusual.
ET: What does this show inspire in you?
Mr. Lozeron: This show is giving me an impression of unity and of respect of the person. It emits a warmth that allows the audience members to move toward a truly magnificent world.
ET: Which scene particularly touched you?
Mr. Lozeron: I didn't feel there was any particular strong point, I found all the scenes moving. I loved the beauty of the movements, accompanied by a magnificent orchestra.
ET: Is it common to organize a private evening like this?
Mr. Lozeron: It's very difficult to organize such events because they demand a significant investment. In the current conditions, very few companies accept to participate in this sort of event.
ET: Do you think this sort of show is appropriate for a private event?
Mr. Lozeron: I am convinced that this type of show deserves to be known and supported because it is exceptional work. To introduce a different culture to people who are not prepared is a delicate thing. But tonight, we have a great show, which is sought after by organizers, and at the same time, Shen Yun [Divine Performing Arts] transmits cultural values of respect, politeness, which allow for a better world to be built.
