TAINAN—"The performance was great in every aspect," expresses Mr. Mu Lien-rui, the Director of Tainan City Hospital. On January 29, Mr. Mu and a dozen of his colleagues from Tainan City Hospital watched the Divine Performing Arts' debute of the Chinese Spectacular in Tainan City, Taiwan.

Mr. Mu praised the Spectacular for its programming and unique performances that capture the essence of traditional Chinese culture through song and dance. Mu exclaimed, "The programming is very good. Traditional Chinese culture is very broad and profound, but the two-hour show covered its essence."

Mr. Mu expressed that the masters of ceremonies sharing the content and meaning of each performance to the audience beforehand to help the audience understand each performance was a very good approach.

To Mu, the classical dance conveyed the essence of traditional Chinese culture. He also added, "The lyrics of the songs have very profound meanings. The singers' techniques and skills are outstanding."

According to Mu, the dance "Drummers of the Tang Court" left the biggest impression for him. Mu exclaimed, "The thundering drums were especially exciting."

Mu said he was confident the Spectacular would become very popular, and he would definitely invite his family and friends to come watch if it comes next year.
