TAMPERE, Finland—Computer scientist Oscar Perez did not have an interest in Chinese culture before he saw the Chinese Spectacular.

"Very nice choreography. Very well performed. I can see that it's hard work to achieve this. I like it very much."

He said he did not have an interest in Chinese culture before the show. "Not really, I just came for the Spectacular. That's all."

His favorite performance was "Victory Drums."

"The last part with the drums was very nice. It was very well performed and very powerful, so to speak."

He could feel the traditional Chinese culture and values coming through in the show.

"Sure," he said. "For instance, they were talking about destiny in China and this forbidden group that is in jail. That was very well represented."

"It is very interesting to come here and see that it is not only about the performers, but also about the culture, and it's very well represented. You get to know Chinese culture in a very well-depicted way. I highly recommend it."
