TAMPERE, Finland—Divine Performing Arts continued the Scandinavian leg of its world tour of the renowned Chinese Spectacular in Tampere, Finland Sunday evening at Tampere Hall, the largest congress and concert center in all of Scandinavia.
Jukka Okansen, an engineer for Nokia, found out about the show on the Internet when he came across the site http://www.chinesespectacular.eu
"I decided to go, because I have always liked Chinese culture," he said.
"It was a very good experience to see the performance."
Okansen came to see the show with Ritva Hallapuro, a beautician student. She felt that the show was unique and very beautiful.
Just a few seats away from Okansen and Hallapuro are Joanna Miemi and her mother.
"I saw some pictures in a newspaper and got interested, so I decided to come. I almost forced my mother to join me," said Joanna
Miemi is also a music student and noticed the show's unique musical technique of combining Asian and Western musical styles.
"It is amazing that people can dance like that and make music like that. It really, really is beautiful."
