TAMPERE, Finland—Sonjia Fafling and her friend Ramin Sohrab, two young people with an interest in dancing, were in the audience at Tampere Hall. Both were quite interested in the Divine Performing Arts Company dancers, watching with the keen eyes of those who understand the rigors needed to become a successful dancer.

Farling, a member of a five-girl tango dance team with its own Web site, was quite interested watching something that was different from her own type of dancing.

She enjoyed watching the Chinese Spectacular and said, "Yes, I liked it [the show] very much. I am also a dancer and appreciated seeing a different kind of dance."

The young lady has her own show that is involved in show dancing and has been a dancer for 10 years.

Her 22-year-old friend Sohrab, who also has a Web site, is an accomplished martial artist. He teaches the Wushu style of martial arts and performs what he calls the Shaolin Wushu. He has performed worldwide. Alirez Sohrab, Ramin's father, a native Persian, was his first mentor. Alirez had lived for five years in a Shaolin temple.

When asked what he thought of the performance, given his background, he said, "It was very nice, very beautiful [with] nice colors, and the choreography was fantastic. I liked it very much."
