TAMPERE, Finland—Mrs. Tarja Holopainen lives with her husband in Xian, Shaanxi Province, China. The ancient city is home to the famous Terracotta Army of Emperor Qin, and was the starting point of the Silk Road linking Asia with Europe.

Mrs. Holopainen attended the Shen Yun Chinese Spectacular with an equally cosmopolitan friend, Mrs. Pirkko Mattila. Mrs. Holopainen was pleased by what she saw, saying, "I have lived in China for seven and a half years. So I have seen a lot, and this was high class, and I liked it very much."

"I liked the long sleeve dances, because they can show feelings when they used them."

Mrs. Mattila treated her friend to the tickets. She is a nurse who has traveled the world with her husband. The couple has also spent many years in America.

She said, "I liked it very much, but I have never seen anything like this in China. Everything was very nice. I enjoyed the Mongolian dance very much. It was a very interesting performance."

Both ladies agreed, smiling, that the "Lady in the Moon" was very beautiful and very romantic.
