LINKOPING, Sweden—With outstanding performances, beautiful customs and soothing music, Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular continues to dazzle Swedish show-goers, this time in Linkoping.

Arts Movement Teacher Lena Holmberg, who has had extensive education in the arts, found the show "very exciting".

"It awakens an interest in the Chinese way of living today…one can understand that there are lots of levels where people get their inspiration from," she said.

The two acts featuring contemporary situations in China made a big impression on Ms. Holmberg. She declared that it was "very, very exciting to learn, to know a little bit about Falun Gong… because I know that it is forbidden in China."

She said that she wanted to see the show again, this time with better seating, although she was grateful to have tickets at all – a friend had bought them for her.

Accountant Jan Loewenhoff, who came to see the show with his wife, said the overwhelming number of performers and the music made the show "very impressive".

"The dancing here was so beautiful," said Loewenhoff.

He repeated the response he provided in the survey sheet he filled out after the show. "They asked if I wanted other things, and I said, 'You have a mix of everything on the program so well, so I don't ask for more.'"

Loewenhoff described the Chinese embassy's attempts to interfere with the show as "awful" and "wrong".

He said that he sympathized with the artists, with the pain they must feel because they are not able to perform in their country of origin, China. Everyone is drawn to their "home country," he said.
