MELBOURNE, Australia—A Melbourne woman who attended the Chinese Spectacular performance at The Victorian Arts Centre has commended the Divine Performing Arts company as "beautiful", "unique" and "perfect".
Grace, who lives in Melbourne, but is originally from Shanghai, attended the Chinese Spectacular on Sunday afternoon. She said that among her favourite performances was 'Lady of the Moon'.
"The group is so beautiful, excellent. [The performance] shows so many meanings and her hand movements, the body movements are so touching, so sweet," she said.
"The man [playing Hou Yi] is good too…The couple of singers [were] always excellent," Grace said.
The dance performances were flawless she said, even after watching the movements several times. "A lot of people do not mention this in the dancing, but it is so unique, so excellent – each movement perfect."
"You couldn't find any fault…So beautiful, unique…perfect," she added.
