TAIWAN—For the past two years, Yan Hongming, principal at Nanning High School in Tainan City, Taiwan, has purchased 20 tickets of the Divine Performing Arts' Chinese Spectacular for his staff members. After watching the Spectacular on February 29 in Tainan, Mr. Yan said the Spectacular was a high-quality show with a morally edifying effect.

Yan also praised the show for its professionalism: "The movement, scenes, characters, and technique of dancing are exquisite and splendid."

He said that the two words, "divine" and "rhythm," perfectly describe the Spectacular. "I think these two words accurately describe the show, because 'rhythm' gives you a sense of rhythm, taste, and music, and the show really reflects the charm and beauty of the Chinese traditional culture."

He also thought the show had a morally edifying effect on human society, "The Spectacular plays a positive role in rectifying and improving people's social conduct and enlightening people. It also helps to strengthening people's beliefs. The messages you see in the show are very educational, things like hope, truthfulness, benevolence, forbearance, loyalty, piety and justice. Over a period of many decades we have lost, ignored, and weakened these moral values so now we have to put in effort to bring them back."

He felt very deeply and strongly about the Spectacular. "Chinese culture should be the dominant culture around the world. The Chinese should play an active role to make every effort to further promote the Chinese cultural tradition in the 21st century, not because of there are so many Chinese people but because of China's enduring culture.

"Chinese culture is truly traditional ideas and culture that have preserved the best of humanity, so it deservers to be promoted around the world. We should introduce the Chinese Spectacular by Divine Performing Arts to others and encourage more people to watch the show. The Spectacular is really an honor to our Chinese people."
