LINKOPING, Sweden—A standing ovation and full support from top Swedish MPs rounded off Thursday night's performance of the Chinese Spectacular at the Culture and Congress Centre, Linkoping.

Östergötland County politician Bengt Walla had nothing but praise for the Chinese Spectacular.

"It's really fantastic. Lots of colours."

He said what stood out for him was the "dancing, acrobatics and the colours".

"I've not seen such a show, ever. It's not like anything else."

Alona, a Russian and Swedish language interpreter, was also full of praise for the performance.

"It's beautiful visually. The colours and everything and they are very, very good."

"I think my heart is still in there!"

"I was in Stockholm and I saw the artists in the street. And I got a few flyers and I gave them from to my friends and to my neighbours."

Schoolteacher Svante Palmgren was one of the satisfied audience members.

"Magnificent! Colours, movements, music, all together! It's unusual in western culture;, it's amazing," she said.

"They have a message too. I think it would be good for west Europeans and Americans to know about it."
