LINKOPING, Sweden—Musician Sten Lofman found the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular indeed spectacular, with many "good dancers and good musicians."

"It has a lot of very beautiful scenery, and the flutes are fantastic," he said.

The Spectacular is currently playing at the Linköping Concert and Congress Center in Linkoping, Sweden.

Lofman particularly enjoyed the drumming performances which for him resembled the sound of thunder.

Eva Lofman, a story teller, recognized the importance of culture.

"I think it's very important for every human being to be proud of their own culture that we bring along, and I like the old culture of China very much, very interesting."

The drums were also a favorite for Christina Langer, who learned about the show through her son and his girlfriend.

"It was a little different from what I'm used to, but I'm interested in seeing other art shows," she said.

Lina, a librarian who came to see the show with her thirteen-year-old son Fred, said she found the entire performance enjoyable.

"I like the colors and the clothes," she said. "The whole thing I think, has good things in it."

Fred also enjoyed the performance and thought the choreographed dances were "spectacular." He especially liked the piece Fruits of Goodness, in which the fate of two young punks changes after they have a benevolent thought.
