STOCKHOLM, Sweden—Divine Performing Arts' Chinese Spectacular played for Stockholm's Circus Theatre for the fourth time Wednesday evening, much to the delight of its audience.
"I like the color and the dances are very good and the acrobatic dances are good," said Petra, an editor for a firm that publishes legal texts.
Petra told us that she was in China last summer and saw a Chinese acrobatic show, but felt that the Chinese Spectacular is different.
"You could feel that it was traditional. And you could see the history. I like the drums and the music and it was very good."
"It was good that you could see the [lyrics] and listen to the songs. The songs were about life and Chinese history – very nice to listen to."
She also felt that the show had helped her learn more about China's ancient traditions and history, "It was a very long performance. There was lots of time to see and think about it."
"And also the history when they had the show with the moon [Lady of the Moon]. To see some of the history and things you believe in."
Petra also told us that she would come see the show again next year and will recommend it to friends.
"Yes I will definitely recommend it."
