STOCKHOLM, Sweden—Despite frigid temperatures in Sweden, the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular continues its successful run at Stockholm's Circus Theater, delighting audiences with its entertaining portrayal of Chinese traditional culture.
"I think it's fantastic, very interesting, very nice expressions using the whole body and everything—singing, dancing, and so on. I think it's very good," said Eva-Selin Lindgren, MP and a professor of Environmental Physics, who attended Tuesday's show.
"I think there's a universal language in the body language, and also the message, peace and truth and also goodness. I was very impressed by this man who gave away everything and still he was able to enjoy life and survive and so on."
Lindgren added that she would like the see the show travel to Norway.
"I've been in Thailand and I've been to Taiwan so I've seen some variation but not like this. I really think you should try also to do this in Oslo, in Norway. You can move and also show other Scandinavian people. The translation is good and the people explaining the message behind. I like it very much indeed."
Nelly Zaggora, a dance student at Lixin Dance School, attended the Spectacular with her father.
"It was very good, the dancers were very good. I liked them very much," she said. "The show is very different."
Zaggora's father said he thought the dancing was "very wonderful, very high level. I thought the drum dancers were good. It was very powerful and fun to see and hear."
