STOCKHOLM, Sweden—Tuula Ystehede and some of her relatives traveled all the way from Norway to see the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular at Stockholm's Circus Theater on Monday.

Ms. Ystehede admired the artists and was quite impressed with the skills she saw on stage.

"The show is very impressive and very beautiful. I think the artists are fantastic, just superb. The color combinations were amazing. I am very happy I came," she said.

In addition to featuring dances from various ethnic cultures from within China as well as from Korea, Mongolia and Tibet, a couple of acts convey Falun Gong's peaceful struggle in the face of ongoing persecution in China.

"I think scenes in this shows tell a lot about the situation of people in China. The scene about Falun Gong was very impressive and I almost cried. The scenes about Falun Gong were very well done. I deeply feel for people who are suppressed like this. It is very sad, but I hope it will end soon."

She added that she is a painter and owns her own studio.

"I am a painter and studied Chinese paintings for three years in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, and Hong Kong. I have a studio in Norway, in a small town called Orse. We live south of Oslo. Orse is also a university town."

Before parting they all said that they were quite impressed with the drumming scenes, Drummers of the Tang Court and Victory Drums.
