TAINAN—The retired math teacher Li Zhengxiong from Tainan Girls' middle school is famous in Tainan's education circles. On March 1, at the invitation of his students, he came to watch the second performance of the Divine Performing Arts Spectacular.
He lauded the performance, and said it can purify peoples' minds, that it's different from other ordinary performances.
He told the reporter that the whole performance was great, "the backdrop is good, it is very good that all the cast are very neat, and that the programs include themes of loyalty, filial piety, moral courage and justice—these can purify peoples' hearts, which is good."
He has visited mainland China many times and seen many performances, but the design of the Divine Performing Arts Spectacular is first class, he said, with a high degree of uniformity.
"In the mainland there are general dances which focus on skills and variety, so the arts are entertaining; Mainland performances used to be better compared to Taiwan's generally. But I feel Divine Performing Arts is even better after watching it today, it is larger scale and contains more inner.
"The inner content of this show can purify peoples' hearts, which makes it better. I think this is very good. After people watch such uplifting programs, society will be more peaceful and harmonious. "
