TAINAN—The Divine Performing Arts finally arrived in Taiwan and started the first show in the "Ancient Capital of Culture", Tainan City, on February 29, 2008.
Mr. Wang Shuiwen, the Chief of the Department of Education, came to the last year's performance as well. After watching the performance this year, he said: "I really admire these artists, the Divine Performing Arts from the US. They are able to present the essence of Chinese culture in the short two hours by means of art performance."
As a Chief of Education Department of Tainan City, he hoped that "School principals and teachers will extract the quintessence of the performance and compile into the courses they are teaching."
"I believe such text material will greatly inspire students." Wang said.
"The performance is even more wonderful than last year." Wang added, "The stage setting, lighting and acoustic effects are even better than those of last year, especially the high-tech backdrop. I feel it's truly remarkable." He felt the animation backdrop made him feel like he "was in the midst of the true outdoor setting of the story" although he was seated inside the theatre.

Wang has the greatest esteem for the dance program "Power of Awareness" which depicts how people step out from silence to stop the Falun Gong practitioners from being persecuted by communist police.
He hoped everyone will find chance to come watch the Divine Performing Arts Spectacular.
