PARIS—As the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular continues its two-day run at the Palais des Congres in Paris, audience members continue to be impressed with the show's unique portrayal of Chinese culture.

"It was superb, very colourful. Very beautiful costumes, very beautiful dances. We enjoyed it," said Katarina, who manages a commercial project for a dance school, after Saturday evening's show.

"I like the end scene with the drums and also the sea," she said, adding that there was something very special about the Spectacular that she found hard to explain.

"I don't know how to explain it; it was the colours, the energy, there was something radiating from it, this was for the whole show."

Mr. Fillassier, a foreign trade consultant, said the Spectacular was "absolutely fantastic."

"The drums were fantastic. I only regret one thing, that they don't sell at the exit the record, the music. They only sell the video, but not the CD. Otherwise it was splendid — congratulations."

Mrs. Fillassier, now retired from her job as head at Gallery Lafayette, a Paris department store, said she was impressed by the music and the costumes in the Spectacular.

After Paris, the Divine Performing Arts tour will continue on to Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
