PARIS—A theatre-goer who attended the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular at the Palais des Congres in Paris on Saturday evening said the show moved her deeply.
"The show is very good. I felt really carried away by it. It is very beautiful, initiative and meditative. I liked it really very much and I also got really emotional," said Ms. Toshi, a fashion designer from Paris.
Toshi was especially struck by the the inner meaning of the translated lyrics that were displayed on a background screen.
"When I read the translations, it was moving and really touching. It was also teaching something to all of us…. I liked all of the songs. They were all beautifully sung. They really said something to me at least.
As a fashion designer, the costumes from the show, all handmade, caught Toshi attention.
"Very nice and beautiful colours. They were very colourful, but very harmonious. It inspired me a lot for my new designs next year."
After Paris, the Divine Performing Arts tour will continue on to Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
