BERLIN, Germany—Ulrich Ebersbach, a sales manger at a printing company, was invited to the Chinese Spectacular on Sunday evening by his business partner and the show's media sponsor, The Epoch Times Germany.

"For us, it is a unique cultural experience of learning [the ways of] Chinese traditional performance."

When asked what he liked most, he answered "It is difficult to single out only one element. In general, my favorites were the dance performances," adding that the show's visual effects enhanced those acts.

"The drums are very impressive. They relate to our European sense of rhythm, and are also quite melodic. The drums are universal across cultures, and resonate deeply."

"What we had previously experienced as Chinese culture, was actually a communist Chinese export, whether it was the Chinese opera or other events. This is our first experience of the true traditional Chinese culture, and it has enhanced our cultural horizons," he declared.
