I am a retired senior engineer in China. I graduated from college in the 1950s. My father was a college professor and we had relatives overseas. Because of that, we were called spies and accused of "harboring connections with foreign governments." We were criticized and persecuted during various political movements, and even my children were affected. They felt that they second-class citizens and had to be careful with everything they said. Our whole family has never committed any crime and has always been honest. I had good technical skills, and was needed in the 1980s. As a result, I was given Communist Party membership and other honors. I devoted my life to work and often worked overtime as I was considered a "backbone" of my workplace. As I got older, my health deteriorated and many illnesses began to torment me. My workplace changed ownership and was restructured. My retirement pension is less than 1,000 yuan (US$140) a month. The majority of my life was spent in tears, fear, and fatigue. After I read the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party," I understood everything. I need to be responsible for my own future. I have decided to immediately withdraw from the evil Chinese Communist Party, Youth Pioneer League, and other evil organizations. I will erase the mark of the beast and choose a bright future.
