PRAGUE, Czech Republic—Daniel Storch, a TV guide magazine journalist was among those who attended the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular, currently playing at the Congress Center in Prague.
When asked if he had every seen anything like the Spectacular before, he said, "No, I think this is a first for such a show in this country. Therefore, I have not been exposed to anything similar to this show. This is truly my first time."
He said he would tell his friends about the Spectacular and its unique portrayal of Chinese culture.
"It is something quite different from our culture. But, it is something original and very special for Europeans."
He believed that this would be the most important reason why they should see the show.
"I am a Prague native. I found out about the show when I was on the Internet. I also found information about this show in newspapers and magazines," said Storch.
The drums were among his favorites and the combination of eastern and western instruments was a great plus for the audience.
"I think it is better for us [Czechs]. It makes listening much easier. It is great and I liked it tremendously."
He agreed that one can learn more about Chinese culture from the Spectacular.
