PRAGUE—A lawyer said he was "moved" by the message of 'Truthfulness Compassion and Tolerance' in one of the acts of the Chinese Spectacular .
Ladislav Vondrak came to see Tuesday's matinee show in Prague's Congress Centre with his wife and two daughters.
Speaking of the act, "The Power of Awareness," where the three Mandarin characters for 'Truthfulness Compassion and Tolerance' are displayed on a screen behind the dancers, he said: "[There are] some values, that [people] in this society often forget about. So for me it was very pleasant experience."
He added: "It's too early for questions. There are things that need some time to grow ripe inside a man and he carries them inside for a long time."
One of his daughters said: "Oh, it was beautiful. I like dancing and singing and I really like the soprano. She was beautiful and she sang very clearly. It was just perfect for me. I like the dance performances, especially the one with the fans."
Before the show, the Chinese Embassy sent a letter to a Czech TV station trying to persuade reporters not to attend the show. The attempts were unsuccessful and their tactics were exposed.
Mr Vondrak said: "I think it's a huge pity also for China itself, because Chinese culture is part of the China itself, it is important for the country itself."
Would he come next year again? "I think so," he said.
