PRAGUE, Czech Republic—Currently playing at the Prague Congress Center, the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular continues to enthrall audiences with its unique portrayal of Chinese traditional culture.
One such theatre-goer is Ludek Kopriva, who had nothing but praise for Tuesday's show. "It's really gorgeous. I'm highly satisfied," said Kopriva, now retired, who designed Prague's underground train system.
"I can't tell which part was the best, but the first one [Descending of the Heavenly Kings] made an impression," said Kopriva.
Kopriva was also impressed by the colorful costumes, all of which are originally designed and handmade.
"The setting, the costumes, it was basically marvelous. My son was in China last year for holyday and so he invited our whole family to this show."
Kopriva said he would recommend the Spectacular to his friends. "I would say it's just great, so come and see it."
