PRAGUE—"This is the first time I've seen such a performance," said Katerina Supkova of the Chinese Spectacular show at the Congress Center Prague Monday evening.
Katerina, a designer, attended the show with her husband, an architect. The drummers were a favorite part of the show for both of them, and Katerina described other features in the show as "very beautiful."
"The whole program is very beautiful," said her husband, Ladisla Stopka. He spoke of the show as if in "another world—very interesting."
"It was, as a whole, an exceptional show. While I was watching the show, I was reminded of previous times when I enjoyed watching Chinese pictures and reading Chinese fairy-tales. Throughout the show, I felt as if I were in a different plane of existence. Afterwards, I felt very peaceful and relaxed. Amazing."
"China's history is, for me, very interesting history … a long history—it's beautiful."

Libuse Benackova also attended this evening's show. "I'd like to say it's very, very nice—the performance, the people, the artists here, the women and the men; it's beautiful," she said.
Libuse, director of the Bena Tour Travel Agency, especially enjoyed the dancing and the singers. "I think it's [made for a] very, very fine evening," she said. "I'm very happy that I had the opportunity to be here."
