BRATISLAVA—Dagmar Kubovicova, an attorney who has a large practice, attended the Chinese Spectacular in Bratislava on Sunday with her husband. She has been interested in Chinese culture for quite some time and enjoys watched many television shows about China.
She couldn't say what her favorite moment in the Spectacular was. "Every scene was beautiful and unique. The show is very artistic, excellent, and beautiful. First I thought that the first part was beautiful and lovely, but ultimately I liked everything. The drums, the erhu (Chinese two-stringed instrument) ... and the female dancers were all fantastic."
"The colors were fantastic and beautiful. I imagined China to be just like this. The show embodied, for me, the Chinese culture. In addition, the artists depicted the principles of Falun Gong very well."
Kubovicova spoke of the dance "The Risen Lotus Flower," in which two female Falun Gong practitioners have a vision after their friend is been beaten to death by policemen. "I felt something in all of the scenes. It was very touching. It was cleansing. If every human would believe in the Falun Gong principles [Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance] a little bit, they would live a better life."
