BRATISLAVA—The artistic director of the Moravian Slezian National Theatre -- the biggest theater in the Moravian region, Czech Republic enjoyed the Chinese Spectacular .
Igor Vejsada was at the opening night of the Spectacular in Prague’s Congress Centre on Monday. He is also known as a ballet master and said the dancers’ technique were all very professional.
“I have very good feelings from the performance. The dance was at high professional level,” he said.
He said in his opinion dance is the most spiritual art.
“The audience could experience through out the show the great Chinese history and the spiritual heritage,” he said.
“It was very nice. I feel very good, also beautiful and dance was nice.”
He said he found the show quite different.
“Of course it is different, because it is different types of religious thinking… the spiritual things with the dance.”
He felt that that techniques and the dancers’ concentration was different from western dance.
“Together with the technique, you feel a kind of Chinese Buddhism or tai chi, or type of things. You can feel it,” he said.
He said he liked the show very much.
“The culture is different of course, but I know a little bit about Chinese culture. And for me it is always interesting. Of course it is a big refinement,” he said.
