BRATISLAVA, Slovakia—The Chinese Spectacular opened to a sold-out audiences in its deput show in Bratislava.
Continuing their tour of Europe, the Divine Performing Arts dance company opened at the National Opera House in Slovakia on Sunday night.
Dr. Liana Massens, a physician said: “I enjoyed the show very much because it had so much originality, I could feel that the pictures in the background were selected with much love, and care, and I appreciated this very much. I also enjoyed the references to Chinas past.”
Germaine Lors, her companion, who works for the UN, said: “It's amazing! I enjoyed the show a lot. I could see that a lot of work went into it, but it was fantastic. I liked it very, very much.”
He added: “Every subject was given meticulous attention, and connected with five elements, water, fire …this is so well treated, fantastic! Really, the work, it was perfection!”
Dr. Massens said that she learned of the Spectacular through Mr Lors, who had in turn picked up a flyer that was being distribted outside the UN office in Vienna.
She added: “The colour used in the costumes is something which is out of this world. It was a beautiful show.”
