BRATISLAVA, Slovakia—Mikulas Feher, a producer from Trnava Theater, attended the Sunday Divine Performing Arts performance of the Chinese Spectacular at the National Slovak Theatre in Bratislava.

Feher said, “It was very nice, beautiful, amazing—beautiful culture, beautiful clothing, nice music—we like it.” Feher came with his wife, who has practiced taiji for many years.

From a professional perspective he found it “very interesting and professionally done.”

Another showgoer, Meusec, a former magician and currently a businessman said it was hard to pick out what piece he liked most. “For me everything was perfect,” he said. But I like drummers, because I spent a long time in Japan, in Hokkaido, and sold the drums.” He also said of the show, “It is something perfect, beautiful, breathtaking. So super.”

Another showgoer who loved the drums was Michael, who works in international relations. “It is so moving,” he said, adding that the show “was wonderful. It was a good presentation of the culture.”

After Bratislava, the Spectacular will carry on to Prague for more shows next week. A total of 35 shows will be seen in 14 European countries.
