PARIS—The first Divine Performing Arts performance at the Palais des Congrès in Paris, France, on Feb. 29, 2008, was a stunning success. At the end of the show, the performers received a thunderous standing ovation.
Cyril Saudubray, a financier, was standing in the lobby of the theatre after the show, looking at the program in his hand. Saudubray said that the show "was very, very good," and that every number in it was "a feast for the eyes, fresh and vivid."
What impressed Saudubray most was the show's richness and diversity. Although he had seen many performances before, the Divine Performing Arts performance was "so perfect in every moment and detail" that he could hardly keep his eyes off it, he said.

Mr. Jean Bentaha, a cruise captain, came to watch the show with his family. At the end of the performance, he said, "We had a very interesting and unforgettable evening."
He added, "All the singers were well-trained and very professional. The voice of the female bass was magnetic. The backdrops were dreamy, bringing people's minds to mountains with dense forests of bamboos—and there were the 'White Lotus in Snowy Mountains' and 'Lady of the Moon.' Every number was profound and encouraging, noble and pure!"
