NEW YORK—Stephanie Chen came from L.A. to visit her cousin, aunt, and uncle in New York. Her aunt and uncle just arrived from Canton Province in Mainland China.
"My cousin got me tickets to the show to celebrate the Chinese New Year and I took my aunt and uncle," Stephanie said.
"They just came over from China and they really liked the show a lot."
"They both really liked the solo performance of the tenor, Guimin Guan," expalined Stephanie as her aunt and uncle talked to her in Chinese. "We all thought he had a nice strong voice. The fact that he stood so far away from the microphone just tells that his voice is so strong, I could hear every single pitch perfectly."
The Chinese New Year Splendor will conclude its run in New York on Saturday night, Feb. 9. For information on this and other shows in the Divine Performing Arts world tour, please visit: www.DivinePerformingArts.org . The Epoch Times is a proud sponsor of the Chinese New Year Splendor.
