NEW YORK—William Spencer, CEO, president, and founder of software company Planet Associates, says he intends to see the Chinese New Year Splendor again.
"I have never seen dancing like that, but it stood out a lot. Remarkable. They move without being moving," he said.
He said the drums also stood out for him.
"It was nice. It is different. I enjoyed the show. Very nice," he said.
He said he liked the simultaneous English and Chinese translation.
His daughter Christi Spencer returned from studying in Beijing and Shanghai two days earlier. She said she saw a lot of theater in China.
"It's good. I enjoyed it. I like all the colors," she said.
She said she particularly liked "Water Sleeves" and the two-stringed erhu.
The Chinese New Year Splendor continues in New York through Saturday, February 9.
