Lately, southern China has suffered severe snowstorms. As a result, people's lives have been seriously threatened.
Gas, electricity, and transportation are nearly paralyzed and all sorts of necessities are in dire shortage. Some counties and cities are even isolated from the outside world. The living conditions of people in disaster areas are highly worrying. On account of all these problems, the China Interim Government hereby states: 1. All the members of the China Interim Government are deeply concerned for the 80 million snowstorm victims in China. It hurts every one of us to see you going hungry and helplessly isolated in the freezing weather. We feel deepest sorrow and sympathy. On the eve of the Chinese New Year, the China Interim Government would like to greet all the people suffering in the disaster and send our most sincere wishes that your lives will return to normal as soon as possible.
2. Until now, the Chinese communist regime has spent more effort rolling out propaganda on successful rescues than in actually helping people. As a matter of fact, there is an enormous difference between the true rescue progress and what's reported in the communist's propaganda.
At the critical moment when people's lives are on the line, the Chinese communist regime is still mired in internal power struggles. Many people in disaster areas remain isolated and helpless and their situations are rapidly worsening each day. In fact, for a long time the Chinese communist regime, aiming to increase the GDP, has created a fake economic boom. By plundering natural resources the regime has severely damaged the ecosystem and environment.
Meanwhile, the dictatorship — centered around a few Chinese communist authorities — is extremely fragile. As a result, the Chinese communist regime has no means to respond to such a natural disaster; the rescue system is completely paralyzed.
Taking these issues into account, the China Interim Government sends the following warning to the relevant people in the Chinese communist regime: if rescue delays cause large-scale damage, injuries and deaths, the China Interim Government will investigate this negligence and take legal and political action against the offenders. 3. The China Interim Government urges the international society to help Chinese people in the disaster areas. The snowstorm disaster has been worsening, but the Chinese communist regime is already incompetent to handle the situation. The China Interim Government cannot sit and watch the Chinese communist regime's inaction threatening people's lives. We urge the international society to send rescue teams so as to minimize the casualties in China.
4. The China Interim Government calls people in the disaster areas to rescue themselves instead of relying on the Chinese communist regime. Depending on the regime's empty promises will only make you miss better rescue opportunities. We hope all the people can organize themselves and unite to help each other.
5. The China Interim Government has decided to establish a Self-rescuing Committee using the "Future China Forum" as a platform. Each province in disaster areas should elect a communication team to collect information on actual damage in the area. Such information should be sorted by designated people and passed on to the United Nations to seek appropriate help and attention.
Meanwhile, we will continue pressing the Chinese communist regime and prevent them from covering up the damage in the disaster areas. All these efforts aim to rescue as many people as possible.
