NEW YORK—Wednesday evening's performance of the Chinese New Year Splendor at Radio City Music Hall was a "memorable experience," said Moshe and Brenda Tener of Manhattan. "The performance is excellent. The show is beautiful, and the dancing is a pleasure to watch," said Brenda, a social worker.
Moshe, a professor of dentistry at Columbia University said, "The dancing was incredible. I also liked the simplicity of the performances."
Moshe and Brenda, who visited China 25 years, ago commented on the performances concerning a contemporary tragedy in China today.
"I think the Falun Gong should be left alone, and they should be able to do what they want to do. Everybody I met who was a Falun Gong [practitioner] in the last two years was peaceful and nice. They should be left alone," said Moshe.
Moshe was referring the persecution of Falun Gong. Falun Gong is a meditation practice and spiritual discipline that has been brutally suppressed in China since 1999.
