LOS ANGELES—Divine Performing Arts Chinese New Year Spectacular recently presented four shows at the largest theatre in Los Angeles, the Nokia L.A. Live theatre. The Divine Performing Arts world tour showcased classical Chinese performing arts. The show has been highly acclaimed by Western and Eastern audiences alike.

Among those in attendance and commenting on the show were husband and wife Craig and Judy Chappell. Craig is a retired UPS truck driver and Judy is a Los Angeles Unified School District employee.

"I loved the show. I was awestruck with the sense of peace I felt. It was truly a "spectacular" way to spend the afternoon," said Judy.

Craig added, "These were excellent performances, the costume colors, etc. It was brilliant! This [Chinese] new year's show was terrific."

Also in attendance with the Chappell's was Sarah Kasten, a musical theater college student.

"I really enjoyed the show! This is my second time attending and it was just as spectacular as I remembered," said Kasten.

The Chinese New Year Splendor is currently playing in New York through Saturday, Feb. 9. For other shows in the Divine Performing Arts world tour, please visit: http://www.DivinePerformingArts.org/
