ANTWERP, Belgium—Isabelle Liesenborg, an accountant and art lover from Diest came to Antwerp to see Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular on Thursday evening, February 27, with her friend Mr. Bertels.
When asked what she like best about the evening's performance, she replied "Beautiful colors. Beautiful combination of the dance and the choreography."
Mr. Bertels added that it was "Exquisite, extraordinary, beautiful. I especially like the musicians. And the text [translations of the songs] being shown on the projection screen, that was well done."
"I had never seen this kind of dancing and art before," said Ms. Liesenborg. It's the first time I've seen classical Chinese dance. I'm an art lover, I'm happy to have discovered a form of art I didn't know before. Also the projections were really beautiful!"
Mr. Bertels nodded in agreement. "We both love art. We are happy to be here."
