LONDON—Mario Anastasiades, a lawyer from Northampton, took in Saturday evening's performance of the Chinese Spectacular after seeing it advertised while he was in London for training.

"It's good to see the different culture. The dances and the colour are beautiful. I like the drumming at the very end as well—that was very good."

The Spectacular illustrates many traditional Chinese cultural legends and Buddhist, Taoist, and Confucian morals and values through Chinese classical dance, singing, and music.

Anastasiades remarked, "It's very touching, it's memorable. It's quite passionate, isn't it. Some of the stories are lovely to see as well."

"It's different from Western culture. It's a different type of story entirely."
