LONDON—As it nears the end of its three-day run at London's Royal Festival Hall, the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular continues to draw praise from delighted theatre-goers.

Mishelley Reddy, a graphic design student, said the Spectacular was "just beautiful."

"I really enjoyed it, it was very graceful. I loved the music and the dancing. It was a good experience—something different."

He noted the high tech, state of the art backdrops in the show.

"The background was amazing. I loved the graphics, I thought it was really good, and it really told the story."

Huiya Kaya, a recent graduate of Marketing Management and Tourism, also loved the show, especially a piece called Water Sleeves.

"I really enjoyed it, especially the part where they were in pink dresses and long sleeves." Andrew Gormley, an investment banker, said the Spectacular was "a great experience."

"I liked the drums and the acrobatic one and the Falun Gong related ones," he said. "I thought it was a good way to raise awareness to people about the persecution. I thought it was done in a good, artistic way."

Gormley was referring to two scenes in the show which tell the story of a contemporary tragedy in China: the persecution of Falun Gong, a meditation practice and spiritual discipline currently being brutally suppressed by the Chinese regime.

Divine Performing Arts continues its European tour throughout February. For information about upcoming Divine Performing Arts shows, please visit:
