SEOUL, Korea—Ahn Sang-soo, floor leader of Korea's Grand National Party, attended the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular at Peace Hall of Kyung Hee University in Soeul on Saturday evening.

"My eyes were glued to the stage. It is good that I have come, it is worth it," said Sang-soo after the show.

"It provides the audience with a wonderful fantasy. The dances have a good rhythm and are full of youthful vigor — it filled me with energy while watching it. It is beautiful and provided me with a feeling of God's mercy."

Having been elected as a member of Parliament three times, Sang-soo is also the human rights committee chairman of the Vindication Association in Seoul, the human rights committee chairman of the Grand National Party, and chairman of the International Parliamentary Rule of Law.

Sang-soo said that he was especially impressed by the "Mongolian Bowl Dance," in which the performers danced while balancing bowls on their heads.

"The performers are magical," he said.

He also enjoyed "Loyalty of Yue Fei," which told the story of Yue Fei, a legendary Chinese warrior from the Song Dynasty.

"It was very good, full of youthful vigor."

Sang-soo, who had also seen last year's Spectacular, said the show demonstrates traditional Chinese culture, dance, history and morality and is more "meaningful and interesting" than other shows.

He added that the dancing form was beautiful, and the stage backdrops were unique.

Sang-soo said he would come to this show next year again. Regarding the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) interference with the Spectacular in Korea, he said, "The freedom of public cultural shows in Korea is not to be interfered with and should be protected."

Although busy with the upcoming election in April, Sang-soo said he was glad he had come to the Spectacular
