LONDON—"Excellent, absolutely excellent" was how David Timoney described the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular matinee performance at London's Royal Festival Hall on Feb. 23.

"I am really enjoying the concept," he said, describing the show as transportation to another time.

David does interior work, along the lines of interior design.

Talking during the intermission, he said that the dancing was really good and that he enjoyed all the visuals. "The costumes are excellent," he said.

David said that he particularly enjoyed the drummers because of the skill—both physical and musical. "You could actually see the way they moved their feet as they were dancing as well. There's quite a lot to watch there."

He said that he particularly enjoyed the performance of "Snowy Mountain, White Lotus," describing it as "very, very excellent."

He said that introductions by the two Masters of Ceremonies really helped to explain the acts. He said that the announcers "were very good, with a bit of humour as well."
