LONDON—Lynda Corocan, a manager at a High Street shop branch, was deeply moved by the Chinese Spectacular . She said she was very happy to be there.

"The performance has met all my expectations, it's been very emotional for me, the show brought tears to my eyes on several occasions".

Ms. Corocan has always had an interest in Chinese culture and as soon as she saw the Shen Yun Spectacular advertised she reserved a seat immediately for the opening night in London.

She said: "For me tonight's show was a dream come true."

"I definitely got a sense of traditional Chinese culture from tonight's performance particularly in terms of their spiritual beliefs."

"I just think the show was absolutely amazing and superb," she said.

There were many in the management field attending the show on Friday night.

Finance manager Antonio Labeodan also enjoyed the opening night of the Chinese Spectacular in London.

"Tonight's performance was brilliant, it was very colourful, with a deep expression in the dance performance," he said.

He said that his favourite performance was the "Lady of the Moon" describing it as "quite surreal".

He was also particularly taken with the Erhu, a two-stringed Chinese violin, saying, "The sound was very beautiful and moving".

"The performance portrayed traditional Chinese culture in terms of the costumes, dance and drums," he said. There are three more shows in London, continuing till Sunday, with matinee and evening performance on Saturday.

The Divine Performing Arts will then continue the tour to Paris, Geneva and Vienna.
