'We loved the drums! The show was really fantastic'

LONDON— The Shen Yun Chinese New Year Spectacular opened to a near full house Friday night in London's Royal Festival Hall.

Members of a dance group said they were thrilled by the drum performance in the Chinese Spectacular .

William Chan of the Baoying Oriental Dance Group from southwest London said: "We loved the drums! The show was really fantastic. We always enjoy coming to see oriental dance performances and this one was particularly good."

Mr. Chan was one of three members of the dance troupe to see the show in London.

He said that the dance troupe holds performances and workshops across the south of England and regularly visit other performances.
