On Feb. 20, Falun Gong practitioners from Indonesia visited the Thailand embassy in Indonesia to peacefully appeal the arrest of 22 Falun Gong practitioners by Thailand police on Feb. 8.

The practitioners were appealing to the Thailand government not to help the Chinese Communist Party persecute Falun Gong and to immediately release the detained practitioners in Thailand.

The appeal received the support of Indonesian police who secured the area and asked Thailand's embassy to invite the practitioners to discuss the issue.

After the practitioners appealed in front of the embassy for 30 minutes, one of their representatives was invited to a closed meeting with an embassy official.

Following the meeting, the Thailand embassy promised to follow up the issue that same day.
