THE HAGUE, Netherlands—The Divine Performing Arts left the audience in awe after its second and final performance of the Chinese Spectacular at The Hague's World Forum Theatre on Wednesday evening.
With its reputation as a world-class performance spreading across Europe during its international tour, the Chinese Spectacular drew the Maas family from Belgium to watch the performance in The Hague.
"We came 180 kilometres, but the show was so nice we don't regret it," said Huub Maas, a retired electronics and chemical plant worker.
Although unfamiliar with traditional Chinese culture, Mr. Maas said he knew it would be a show worth seeing.
"It was fantastic, really fantastic. The clothes and the colors, and of course the dancing...the dancers seemed to fly!"
The Chinese Spectacular will be performed in 15 cities across Europe by mid-April. The Maas family is already planning their second visit to see the Spectacular.
"I have heard they are going to Belgium. I will check the times on the internet and take my son and daughter," said Mr.Maas.
