THE HAGUE, Netherlands—The Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular concluded its shows in The Hague to a standing ovation from an enthusiastic audience.
"Beautiful, really beautiful...unbelievable," said Astrid Dereoue from Auchhatste in the Netherlands, who attended Tuesdays' opening show.
"Everything it is so gracious, so beautiful," she said, adding that she particularly enjoyed the acts called 'The Risen Lotus Flower' and 'Nymphs of the Sea'.
Ms. Dereoue said the song lyrics translated in the background screen helped her understand their meaning. She also appreciated the fact the hosts presented all the programs in both English and Chinese.
"It's also nice that the two speakers tell a bit about it — it is more understandable."
She said she would recommend the Spectacular to her friends and co-workers.
"I work for a secretary at Lada University and I would certainly tell all the people to come and see it."
