THE HAGUE—Audience members said they truly felt touched by the Wednesday's performance of the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular at The Hague World Forum Theatre.
Doreen Taran came with her husband who is the CEO of a hospital.
"We were so amazed by the elegance of the dances," said Doreen "And the colors of their clothes and the show were so bright they make feel so happy and warm."
The Spectacular encompasses 5,000 years of Chinese history and culture giving people with all faiths a sense of the traditions.
Doreen said, "I am a Christian and this show displays a different kind of way of seeking for truth, finding truth, and finding goodness. Speaking from this aspect it really touches me."
She went on to say, "I felt the sorrow, the pain and then the resurrection. This show is something very special. I read about the suffering of the Chinese people in a newspaper, but you never realize how serious it really is.
This show is truly explaining the suffering of the Chinese people and how they are really overcoming it."
