OSAKA—Ms. Chisaki Minam watched the Divine Performing Arts Spectacular at Osaka matinee on February 20. She said that after she learned about the Chinese Consulate's interference with the Spectacular she made up her mind to see the performance.
Ms. Chisaki Minami is the director of New Educators Foundation, Osaka Branch. She learned about the Spectacular from a new friend.
The next day, she read a news report from Japanese daily Sankei Shimbun , one of the five Japanese national newspapers, on the Chinese Consulate's interference with the Spectacular in Sweden. She promptly decided to attend the show.
Ms. Minami said, "This is the first time I came to know there actually exists an art organization like the Divine Performing Arts. The performance is truly wonderful."
"It must be an unimaginable, mysterious affinity that brought me to the show today," she added.
Ms. Minami repeated "This is the first time I came to know the existence of the outstanding Chinese classical dances. I was really amazed. I had seen acrobatics in Shanghai, but this is the first time I have ever seen such a state of art performance. Dances by young men are full of strength. The lead dancer left a deep impression on my mind."
Ms. Minami said the Spectacular should be promoted even more.
The New Educators Foundation was established in 1967. Headquartered in Tokyo, the organization has around 2,600 members.
